I am a 66-year-old Japanese interested in reading English short stories. I am now reading John Collier’s “Green Thoughts.” I have a few questions about the story. Could you help me?

Question 1:
Collier begins “Green Thoghts” with a quote from Marvell’s “The Garden.” It is “Annihilating all that’s made / To a green thought in a green shade.” I don’t understand “all that’s made.” Does it mean all that has been made by God? Does “Annihilating all that’s made” mean “retreating from the trouble world”?

Question 2:
I understand the meaning of “green shade.” It means “the shade under green trees,” but I don’t understand “green” thought. Why is thought green?

Question 3:
Does the quoted part mean “Retreating from the troublesome world, I devote myself to gardening”?
I would be very happy if you (including the person reading this comment of mine) could help me with my questions.

The fall was obviously brutally difficult. The winter went well, with a return to school! The spring begins with ongoing recovery, school success, and even a return to lacrosse. Today, getting ready for Easter Mass!

I to downloaded it as soon as it was put on the store. The applications for the iPhone are getting much more useful and these are the types of applications I want to see more of (less fart applications please). I read that they are negotiating an application to be able to record video on the iPhone which will bring us all one step closer.

When I used the Ustream iPhone app to watch CNN later in the day, on an AT&T Starbucks WiFi connection, there was no video lag, even with nearly 2000 concurrent viewers of the stream. Missing was a scrolling chat.

Boosting the size of the field elements.

In the iPhone css, here is how I made the search field usable.

If I hadn’t done this, it would be way too small:

input, select, textarea {
font-family: Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 85%;
}
