These subscriptions amount to a hefty stack of reading material each morning (especially on Sundays for those papers that have a Sunday edition) . . . and using a speed reading technique I learned in high school (using a white card to push oneself down the columns of text), I am able to get through a good chunk before the next pile arrives.

The installation was pretty easy. First of all, the software is free and it is a quick download. Secondly, one needs to edit a few lines of a configuration file. Sometimes PHP installations create the MySql database for you. In this case, you must make it yourself using your control panel.

Lots of good dreams in the second sleep - deep ones (full of texture that seemed real) about someone completely not me proposing to marry my pregnant girlfriend, revealing that I am rich, showing her the historical home, on a river, near a marker related to a pope. Then inviting strangers into our new home, only to have them to make love openly in different rooms, all carnal, no peaceful purity.
Then the dream, most recent, of being engaged to marry into a family, trying to get along with prospective in-law brothers and their wives, only saying the wrong things and not being understood. Then a worker at a company, trying to find my place, preparing to be free, explaining that I am not part of this system.

To have a journal entry always open. Studying the OED almost every day now.
I wrote to Kraft Foods: “I read in the Wall Street Journal this morning (Tuesday, May 22, 2007 - B-12) how Kraft Foods gave $33,000 to the food pantry at St. James Catholic Church in Chicago - enabling needy families, the homeless, and the elderly access to food from local grocery stores. I want to congratulate Kraft for their generosity. Well done! I will never forget what Kraft has done. I read how the grant is almost depleted. It is time for another company to step up! I am sure the story will inspire others.”

Swimming in worry, working furiously, trying to stem the flow. hoping not to have to work for someone else, full of good ideas and energy, sometimes slacking and distracted. Need to work with more endurance undistracted.

Tron - 25th anniversary - the film I saw with the English girl - the date I went on. The connection between us was poor; it didn’t go far. She talked about her relative going to the palace - as a big thing. He was in the military. I met her at the after-hours dance club (I think) - the Indian place. I remember it as a really bad film - extremely corny. A bad date! Didn’t I go to meet her once in a pub but was late because I helped a guy who got hit by a bicycle? No, it was his bike and he crashed. The wheel was all wobbly.

I woke from a nap full of hope about video endeavors. I am gaining skills at a fair rate, enough to start to be good at the details, and I have big ideas and energy to complete them.
